Inter want Nkunku

Inter Milan have opened initial talks to sign Chelsea playmaker Christopher Nkunku, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Nerazzurri were recently keen on landing Ademola Lookman from Atalanta, but their proposal worth €47 million was turned down.

The San Siro giants are reluctant to come up with a renewed approach and have decided to turn their attention to landing Nkunku from the Blues.

The Frenchman has had an injury-plagued career with the Blues and he is expected to move on due to the lack of consistent league minutes.

Nkunku was on the radar of Bayern Munich at the start of last month, but the Bavarian giants have decided to sign Liverpool‘s Luis Diaz instead.

Inter have now entered the race for the former RB Leipzig man, and it remains to be seen whether the Blues will accept a reduced package.

The club are likely to make a similar €47m offer for Nkunku. The Blues may have to come down from their €60m price tag for the attacker.
