Palmer fit to face Napoli

Chelsea manager Liam Rosenior has confirmed the availability of playmaker Cole Palmer ahead of the Champions League clash against Napoli on the road tomorrow.

The England international has had a difficult 2025/26 season with the Blues and he has made only 13 appearances due to a nagging groin concern.

Palmer was absent for the win at Crystal Palace in the Premier League due to the same issue, but he has travelled with the team to face Napoli.

Speaking in his pre-match presser, Rosenior said: ‘He’s here’.

The Blues have had a mixed Champions League campaign.

They are currently eighth in the league phase with 13 points, just goal difference ahead of several clubs.

The west London giants must beat the Naples outfit on the road to qualify directly for the round of 16 stage.

Otherwise, they will need to contend with an extra knock-out play-off of two legs to make the last 16 phase.
