Turkish giants Galatasaray have made a formal bid to sign Arsenal winger Gabriel Martinelli this summer, according to Haberturk.

The Gunners have already sold Leandro Trossard this summer. He has been replaced by Christos Tzolis, who has impressed in pre-season so far.

Tzolis has been mesmerising to watch on the left wing, but Arsenal are still keen on landing a marquee addition before the window closes.

This would obviously coincide with Martinelli’s exit, and reports claim that Galatasaray have made a formal bid to secure his services.

The Super Lig champions have offered a package of £34 million for the 25-year-old, who made 18 goal contributions for Arsenal last term.

They recently made a similar proposal to AC Milan for Rafael Leao, but the Rossoneri are adamant that he won’t leave for less than £43m.

Arsenal likewise value Martinelli at a similar range, and they could ask Galatasaray to make an improved offer for the Brazilian ace.
