Fighting Souls Free Download Available Now For PS Plus Subscribers

After a lot of hype, Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls is finally here. Releasing on PC and PlayStation 5, the fighting game offers up an impressive roster stacked with iconic characters from Marvel Comics. Many characters also get multiple costumes, and there are quite a few stages fans will recognize whether they read the comics or watch the MCU movies. PlayStation Plus members, however, also get a nice free bonus right now.

PlayStation Plus freebies are nothing new, as a lot of live service games have free packs available to PS Plus subscribers. In recent months, we’ve seen similar packs for games like Neverness To Everness and Saros. However, it’s nice to see a game as new as Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls getting a bonus pack like this so soon. The pack includes 5 Avatars to be used with your PlayStation account, as well as 20 in-game goodies.

If you’re a PS Plus member already, all you’ll need to do is head over to the PlayStation Store and download the pack. If you’re not a PS Plus subscriber, then no worries. You can easily sub and then download the Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls PlayStation Plus Pack for free afterward. Downloading the pack will net you the following PlayStation Avatars:

  • Captain America
  • Storm
  • Spider-Man
  • Doctor Doom
  • Ghost Rider

You don’t even need the game to use Avatars — just a PlayStation account — so even if you don’t own Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls, you can change your avatar to be one of these characters. The bonuses don’t stop there, however. The PlayStation Plus Pack also includes in-game Result Screen Character Poses for all 20 characters in the game’s base roster.

Overall, the PlayStation Plus Pack for Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls is a pretty solid bonus gift. I’ve definitely seen free packs have a lot less. Being able to get both in-game items and Avatars is a nice combo too. Right now, there’s no expiration date for this bonus pack, but if you’re a PS Plus member already, it’s probably worth heading over to the store and downloading it right away.

Early reviews and previews for Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls have been positive, and the game was #1 on Steam when it launched. For now, it looks like Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls is here to stay, so celebrate the fighting game’s release in style by checking out this free download with PS Plus.
