Chelsea starlet Estevao has no plans to pursue a new challenge away from the Blues during the winter transfer window, as per Football Insider.
The Brazil international has endured a tough spell with the Blues in the Premier League and has played just 23 minutes thus far.
Pedro Neto has been Xabi Alonso‘s go-to choice at right wing-back during the initial few weeks of the new league campaign.
Alonso has doubts over Estevao’s defensive attributes and has not yet been convinced to start the youngster at right wing-back.
This has fueled speculation that Estevao could seek a winter exit from the Blues, but Football Insider clarify that won’t happen.
Estevao is prepared to prove his credentials to the manager and does not plan to seek a new challenge at the start of the year.
Neto is currently ahead of him in the pecking order and the onus is on Estevao to impress with the limited minutes off the bench.
