View Chelsea summer 2026 transfer targets
Como have entered the race to sign Chelsea forward Liam Delap this summer, with the Englishman said to be ready to depart Stamford Bridge. It is understood that the Blues would command a fee of around £55 million to sell the forward, who has failed to reach the level required at Chelsea.
Newly appointed manager Xabi Alonso is said to be willing to let the striker depart, alongside Nicolas Jackson, with a new signing possibly being brought in instead.
It is understood that Como manager Cesc Fabregas wants to bring Delap in on loan for the season, with a view to a permanent move. Delap himself is ready to make a transfer to Italy.
Delap had an impressive spell prior to joining Chelsea with Ipswich Town, scoring 12 goals in 37 games for his club but just one goal in 28 Premier League games last year for the Blues proved that the striker seems to be some way off of reaching his top level and he will now be allowed to depart for a new challenge.
