George moves to Everton permanently

Chelsea winger Tyrique George has completed his permanent move to Premier League side Everton for £18 million.

The 20-year-old graduated through the Blues’ academy, but never got the chance to establish himself as a regular starter.

George spent the second half of last season on loan with Everton, and he has now rejoined the club on a permanent basis.

The Blues will receive an initial £18 million fee for the versatile winger. The deal could rise to around £24 million with add-ons.

There could be more academy graduates leaving the Blues this summer.

Josh Acheampong could be among those. The Blues snubbed an approach from Bayern Munich at the start of last month.

However, the youngster is expected to push for an exit, given Chelsea have decided to pursue a marquee central defender.

The Blues have already started negotiations with Crystal Palace for Maxence Lacroix. He could cost around £50 million.

Trevoh Chalobah is likewise poised to move on. Inter Milan are currently in advanced negotiations over a deal worth £25 million.
