Chelsea are reluctant to pay more than £30 million to sign Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho this summer, according to The Independent.

The Argentine has fallen out-of-favour under manager Ruben Amorim at the Red Devils, and he is expected to leave the club in the coming weeks.

Chelsea are his preferred destination at the moment, but there is no indication that the Blues are prepared to pay the reported asking price to sign him.

United want at least £40m to part ways with their graduate, but the Blues believe Garnacho is not worth more than £30m at the current point in time.

The Red Devils are unlikely to accept such a proposal, and they remain optimistic of receiving a higher fee for his services in the near future.

Aston Villa are also admirers of the Atletico Madrid graduate and they could be contenders to land the Argentine towards the deadline.

Napoli are also keen, but Garnacho prefers to stay in England.
