Chelsea are expected to prioritise the transfer of RB Leipzig attacker Xavi Simons following an agreement to land Jorrel Hato from Ajax.
The Blues recently agreed to pay €42 million for Hato and he has already travelled to London for his medical before penning a seven-year deal.
The club are now expected to turn their attention to his compatriot Simons, who has already agreed on personal terms over a summer transfer.
Chelsea will make an official bid for his services in the coming days, but they will have to pay a premium fee to prise him away from Leipzig.
The Bundesliga giants are a tough negotiating club and reports claim that they won’t entertain less than €70m to part ways with the versatile forward.
The Blues are however optimistic of securing the attacker for a lesser fee and there is a possibility that they could swap a player to lower the sum.
Negotiations are likely to intensify over the next few days.
