Rosenior won’t be sacked by Chelsea for now

Chelsea’s hierarchy continue to keep faith in manager Liam Rosenior ahead of the Premier League clash against Manchester United at Stamford Bridge this weekend, according to The Athletic.

The Blues have been in a wretched run of form in the top-flight and have picked up just three points from their last five league matches. They were recently blown apart by Manchester City, who won 3-0 at the Bridge.

Despite this, Rosenior continues to receive the backing from the hierarchy, and they don’t plan to sack him even if the Blues miss out on the Champions League via a top-five league finish.

Chelsea are currently four points behind fifth-placed Liverpool in the standings, and they face another testing challenge against Manchester United in front of their faithful on Saturday night.

United will be without two of their main centre-backs in Lisandro Martinez and Harry Maguire. It could be a huge advantage for the Blues to keep their Champions League hopes alive this campaign.
