Chelsea have set a staggering price tag for right-back Malo Gusto, according to The Daily Mail.

The Blues have just secured a verbal agreement to land Atalanta full-back Marco Palestra for around £43 million.

Palestra is predominantly a right-back by trade, and his arrival has led to speculation that Gusto could move on.

However, it does not appear the Blues will sanction his departure on the cheap in the current transfer window.

The Daily Mail claim that the west London giants won’t entertain Gusto’s exit for anything less than £75 million.

Manchester City are monitoring his situation, while an unnamed Saudi Pro League side are keeping tabs on him too.

It seems unlikely that any club would be willing to meet such a huge valuation, and Chelsea may have to lower their price tag.

Gusto is presently with the French national side at the World Cup and won’t discuss his future with the Blues until after the summer.
