View Chelsea summer 2026 transfer targets
Chelsea offered £60 million to sign Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott earlier this month, according to journalist Ben Jacobs.
The Blues recently sold Andrey Santos to Manchester United, and it appears they are trying to land a possible replacement this summer.
Scott is one of the top names on their radar, and Jacobs claims that the Blues offered to pay more than £60m to land the 22-year-old.
However, the Cherries immediately turned down the proposal, making it clear they don’t want to sell Scott at any price this summer.
Arsenal and Manchester United have received a similar message, but Scott could still leave, having rejected a new deal beyond June 2028.
It has been claimed previously that Bournemouth value him at around £80m and that could be a figure to tempt them to sell.
Scott had a superb second half to the previous campaign with the Cherries and he looks poised to make his England debut later this year.
