Chelsea and Manchester United are both interested in signing Aston Villa attacker Morgan Rogers during the summer transfer window, according to The Telegraph.

The Blues bolstered their wide attacking department with Alejandro Garnacho, Jamie Gittens and Estevao at the beginning of the campaign.

Despite this, they are exploring another upgrade in the role. Rogers has been closely watched and the club could compete with United for his services.

United are strongly interested in landing the former Middlesbrough man too and there could be a bidding war for his services at the end of the season.

Villa are set to demand in excess of £80m for the 23-year-old and the price could easily move towards the £90m if there is fierce competition for him.

Rogers has 17 goal contributions in the ongoing season for Villa. He has operated in the left wing and number 10 positions for the Midlands side.

Villa are expected to cash in on him even if they qualify for the Champions League, considering their tight financial situation at the current point.
