Chelsea have a clear stance on midfielder Cole Palmer amid interest from Manchester United, according to journalist Ben Jacobs.

The England international has endured a tough third season with the Blues, and he has been nursing a nagging groin injury for a while.

Palmer was recently linked with a surprise move to Old Trafford, but Jacobs has clarified that the playmaker won’t be going anywhere.

The west London giants consider the 23-year-old as an indispensable figure in the squad and won’t entertain any offers in the summer.

United are exploring attacking signings for the next transfer window and there are fears that Bruno Fernandes could eventually leave.

The Portuguese star could receive interest from the Saudi Pro League for the second year running, and may accept the move this time around.

The Blues are quite clear that Palmer won’t be heading for the exit door and United may have to look elsewhere for Fernandes’ possible successor.
