Scott to Chelsea in January?

Chelsea have been handed a boost in signing Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott during the January transfer window, according to Teamtalk.

The Englishman was the subject of interest from the Blues this summer. They made an offer worth £64 million, which was turned down by the Cherries.

Scott has since fared brilliantly for the South Coast outfit and he recently made his maiden appearance for England in the Nations League.

Chelsea are prepared to try again for his services this winter and have been handed a boost due to a gentleman’s agreement, as per Teamtalk.

Scott has a verbal agreement with the Cherries to leave for the right price in January. It could be a figure in the region of £80 million.

The midfielder has already snubbed a new deal beyond June 2028 and looks poised to leave in either January or when the season ends.

Arsenal and Manchester United are also firm admirers of the young midfielder, but he is reportedly angling towards a move to Chelsea.
