Chelsea have reportedly joined Manchester United in the race to sign West Ham United winger Crysencio Summerville, according to The Telegraph.
The Blues signed a couple of left-sided wingers in Alejandro Garnacho and Jamie Gittens last summer, but neither was particularly impressive.
Gittens spent most of the campaign on the sidelines with injuries, while Garnacho was hugely inconsistent too and never secured a starting spot.
Garnacho has been linked with a move away from the Blues this summer and reports claim that the Blues are weighing up an approach for Summerville.
The Dutchman had a decent campaign with the Hammers last term with 12 goal contributions, and went on to shine at the World Cup with four goal involvements.
The Hammers reportedly value him at £50 million, and seem to be looking for a bidding war between clubs such that the overall valuation could be even higher.
Summerville has his sights on returning to the Premier League after the Hammers were relegated to the Championship after a 14-year stay.
