This is a great, engaging activity to reinforce language and pragmatic skills with 3rd-grade-ish up. It could also be used as a connected speech activity for articulation and fluency. The game has different levels of difficulty. So many kids love Legos, so this activity also often elicits natural convo about Legos.
My son (age 7) loves Legos, so I was a bit worried it’d be too “easy” for him. We actually made it part of our travel “go bag” (took it out of the box), and it’s a hit every time we play it. Starts as a family game with 4 of us, then generally ends with him just taking the cards and figuring out how to make the shapes. Great for problem-solving!
