Some Marvel fans have mistakenly spotted a Doctor Doom reference in Daredevil: Born Again episode 4, yet the MCU‘s Doctor Doom hasn’t been referenced yet. Daredevil: Born Again episode 4 features the return of Jon Bernthal’s Frank Castle a.k.a. the Punisher, as well as Muse’s official MCU introduction. Matt Murdock is also growing tired of fighting crime using an exclusively legal approach under his regular identity, and Hector Ayala’s murderer remains at large. Tension rises as every major character faces an obstacle of their own.

On X, several Marvel fans have posted their reactions to Daredevil: Born Again‘s alleged namedrop of Doctor Doom’s birthplace, the Kingdom of Latveria. However, Latveria isn’t mentioned in episode 4. At one point in Daredevil: Born Again episode 4, Wilson Fisk is pressured into attending a celebration of “Latvian Heritage Day”, where a group of Latvian people sing “We Built This City” in Latvian.
