Bitesize Prediction: Wrexham vs Swansea – 13/02/26

Competition: Championship

Market: Over 1.5 goals

Odds: 4/11 @ BetUS

With all eyes falling on the Racecourse Ground on Friday night, Wrexham will host Welsh rivals Swansea for what should be a fiery derby showdown.

Starting with the hosts, left hugely frustrated earlier in the week as they fell to a 2-1 loss at the hands of Hull, Wrexham know the importance of claiming an immediate Championship response here. Nevertheless, despite watching their play-off dreams take a real blow on Tuesday night, Phil Parkinson’s men are still scrapping it out in the top-six and have shattered a string of records since making their iconic Championship debut this season. Winning each of their other three second-tier showdowns, the Red Dragons should still find the mood in their camp at a continued high. Despite watching their FA Cup adventure come to a rollercoaster end against Premier League giants Chelsea last weekend, the former Bolton boss saw his promotion contenders produce another eye-catching performance at the Racecourse Ground. Although Parkinson’s might have been rightfully disappointed in midweek, it is worth highlighting that Friday’s hosts have won each of their other three Championship battles in front of their own supporters.

As for the visitors, although Swansea might have a real uphill battle on their hands in the race to punch their own respective play-off ticket, Vitor Matos’ men will take plenty of positives away from their bright start to 2026. Last seen earlier in the week clinching a rugged 2-1 victory away at relegation scrappers Portsmouth, the Swans have come skyrocketing up the Championship standings and they have recorded back-to-back wins by an aggregate score of 4-1. However, despite getting March underway with a 2-0 win at home against Stoke, Friday’s guests have shown some extended struggles away from the Liberty. Opening the New Year with a 2-1 loss against Millwall, Swansea have lost nine of their last 12 showdowns on the road – a run that stems back to a 1-1 stalemate against Charlton on November 1st. Nevertheless, landing a famous 2-1 victory when they welcomed Wrexham to the Liberty for their reverse Championship meeting on December 19th, Matos’ side will be dreaming of a repeat display this weekend.

Bet: Over 1.5 goals at Wrexham vs Swansea 4/11 for Friday’s Championship contest @ BetUS
