However, Das emphasized that while on-field sledging is part of the game, breaking post-match protocols crosses a line. “Whatever happens on the field, once the game is over, everyone should shake hands. After the first Test defeat, Rizwan didn’t come to shake our hands… He did the same thing in the second Test as well,” Das stated.

Das noted that while the rest of the Pakistani squad maintained standard etiquette, Rizwan’s isolated snub felt like a disrespect to the entire nation of Bangladesh.

“He may have an issue with me, but the entire Bangladesh team did nothing to him,” he added, warning that such actions would rememberably impact how Bangladesh treats Pakistan in future bilateral series.
