Aston Villa are set to land the signature of Tammy Abraham from Besiktas for £18 million this winter, according to BBC Sport.

The England international joined Besiktas on loan from Roma last summer with an obligation to purchase for around £11.2m.

He has had a good season thus far with 13 goals, and Villa have now agreed terms with Besiktas to secure the striker’s services.

Besiktas will first trigger their buy clause with Roma before selling the Englishman to the Villans for a reasonable profit.

Abraham has not played in the Premier League since leaving Chelsea in 2021, but he seems determined to prove himself again.

He previously had a loan stint with the Villans in the Championship, and will now help the club in the pursuit of the league title.

Villa have been inconsistent over the past few weeks, but they are still only four points behind Arsenal for the top spot in the table.

The Midlands outfit host Brentford at Villa Park this weekend.
