View Arsenal transfer targets
Arsenal winger Gabriel Martinelli is undergoing his medical with Saudi Pro League giants Al-Hilal ahead of a permanent transfer.
The Gunners recently reached a verbal agreement to sell the Brazil international. The club will reportedly receive around £55m upfront, with a further £5m in the form of add-ons.
Martinelli has already travelled to Riyadh and reports claim that he is undergoing his medical tests before securing a permanent switch.
Arsenal managed to sign just one left winger in Christos Tzolis this summer, but they still have no plans to cancel the proposed exit of Martinelli.
Martinelli no longer features in the plans of manager Mikel Arteta and he was left out of the matchday squad for the first three games of the season.
Hence, it makes sense for the Brazilian to move on, given Arteta has played Eberechi Eze as an immediate deputy to Tzolis on the left wing thus far.
Eze played a key pass for the winning goal against Aston Villa recently.
