Hincapie suffers ankle injury


Arsenal have suffered a fresh injury after their Premier League win over Leeds United at the Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over the Whites today. Bruno Guimaraes bagged the crucial winner.

Shortly after the game, the club sustained an untimely setback as Piero Hincapie picked up a knock to his ankle in the warm-down session.

The Ecuadorian had to be carried off the field, and the club should provide a clear update on his condition in the next few days.

Arsenal have moved within goal difference of league leaders Manchester City with the comeback win. The Cityzens face Liverpool on the road tomorrow.

Man City should be clear-cut favourites to beat the Reds at Anfield, considering the Merseyside giants are without some key forwards for the match.

Alexander Isak, Cody Gakpo and Hugo Ekitike are all ruled out, and the Cityzens are much fancied to pick up a sixth straight league win.
