Jesus set to leave Arsenal

Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus has decided to pursue a new challenge away from the Gunners this summer, according to Caught Offside.

The Brazil international suffered a serious knee injury at the start of last year and was sidelined for around 10 months after the untimely setback.

Since his return, he has struggled to nail down a starting position. He has been relegated to the third striker role behind Viktor Gyokeres and Kai Havertz.

With another year left on his contract, the former Manchester City man has made the choice to part ways with the Gunners later this summer.

The Gunners also share a similar stance on the striker and have started the hunt for a younger marksman to develop behind Gyokeres and Havertz.

Club Brugge star Nicolo Tresoldi is reportedly highly rated by the Gunners’ hierarchy, and talks are underway to secure an agreement for him.

Tresoldi has made almost 30 goal contributions for Brugge this campaign, scoring against the likes of Barcelona and Atletico in Europe.
