Saka set to pen new Arsenal deal

Arsenal star Bukayo Saka has agreed terms over a new long-term contract with the club, according to journalist David Ornstein.

The England international has been a mainstay on the right wing for the Gunners over the years, and has made key goal contributions.

The 24-year-old has bagged 77 goals and 77 assists from almost 300 appearances, and he has now committed for the long-term.

Saka’s previous deal was due to expire in June 2027 and he has now agreed terms over an improved contract until the summer of 2031.

He has been earning around £195,000 weekly over the last few years, and his latest extension could take him close to £300,000 per week.

Saka has fully deserved his contract extension after carrying the club on his shoulders and will be eyeing some silverware this campaign.

Arsenal take on Championship side Portsmouth in the FA Cup third round on Sunday, where there could be several changes to the XI.

Saka could be one of many players starting on the bench.
