Arsenal open to Jesus sale amid Serie A interest

According to Caught Offside, AC Milan and Juventus are both considering a swoop for Arsenal’s out-of-favour striker Gabriel Jesus, and the Gunners are open to the idea of selling, valuing the services of the Brazil international at around £30million.

Selling Jesus would certainly make sense for Arsenal, given that he is not Mikel Arteta’s first choice up front, that he is 29 years old, and that there is only a year left on his contract at the Emirates. Jesus has made 26 appearances for the Gunners this season, but only two of those were starts in the Premier League. He has a total of five goals and two assists across all competitions.

It should be said that Jesus missed the first half of the season, recovering from an ACL tear.

Reports elsewhere have suggested Arsenal might sell Kai Havertz along with Jesus, in order to secure the funds necessary to sign Julian Alvarez from Atletico Madrid.
