Arsenal have decided against pursuing a deal for Paris Saint-Germain winger Bradley Barcola this summer, according to L’Equipe.

The Gunners are aiming to land a marquee left winger ahead of the new season, and they are exploring different names at the moment.

Barcola is one of the players that has been linked with the club, but Arsenal have no desire to spend over the odds for his services.

The Frenchman has been one of PSG’s best performers over the past few years and he is unlikely to be sold on the cheap despite his contract standoff.

PSG are looking for a staggering £136m to part ways with the talented attacker and are unlikely to provide much room for negotiations.

Arsenal recently pulled out of the race to land Morgan Rogers ahead of Chelsea after the Blues made a staggering £117m bid for him.

The Gunners don’t feel the urgency to spend a higher sum on Barcola, and could instead go all in to convince Real Madrid star Vinicius.

Vinicius could be prised away for around £136m and reports claim that the Gunners are ready to hand him a Premier League record salary.
