Arsenal duo miss training before Chelsea game

Arsenal have been handed a double injury blow ahead of the Premier League clash against Chelsea at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday.

The Gunners have had a perfect start to their league title defence, but they are set to face their toughest challenge yet against Chelsea.

Ahead of the game, they have suffered a possible setback with the absence of two more first-team stars from today’s training session.

Cristhian Mosquera was substituted after a hamstring injury scare against Aston Villa and was nowhere to be seen in today’s training.

Bruno Guimaraes seemed to have picked up a fresh knock at Villa Park, and the Brazilian was likewise absent from the training pitch.

It is still too early to judge whether they could be absent as the Gunners could train again before the London derby on Sunday.

Manager Mikel Arteta will provide a clear update on the fitness of the duo during tomorrow’s press conference from London Colney.
