Arsenal to land Gordon?

Arsenal have been handed a big boost in signing Newcastle United winger Anthony Gordon ahead of the summer transfer window.

The Magpies have had a poor campaign in the Premier League and they are currently languishing 14th in the table with six games left.

Despite this, Gordon has built his reputation with the Tyneside giants, having made 22 goal contributions in all competitions for them.

The Telegraph now claim that Gordon has his sights on a new challenge elsewhere and he has already informed the Magpies of his desire.

The former Everton man prefers to sort out his future before the World Cup and Arsenal are mentioned as one of his long-term admirers.

The Gunners have looked at signing him on different occasions in the past without making a formal bid. It could happen this time around.

Gordon would be an upgrade on Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard on the left wing. One of them could be sold to make space for him.
