Tzolis signs for Arsenal

Arsenal have finally confirmed the arrival of Christos Tzolis from Club Brugge on a long-term contract.

The Gunners were tipped to sign the Greece international earlier last month after they agreed to sell Leandro Trossard to Besiktas.

The hierarchy quickened the process after Trossard’s exit, and Tzolis has now joined the London giants in a deal worth £34 million.

Tzolis is primarily a left-sided winger but can also operate as a number 10.

He had a sensational 2025/26 season with Brugge in Belgium. He scored 22 goals and provided 29 assists from 52 appearances in all competitions.

The Premier League is a much tougher challenge than the Belgian top-flight, but Tzolis could prove a good signing due to his creative skills.

The 24-year-old possesses good dribbling skills and has impressed with his chance creation and ability to score goals from tight spaces as well.

Despite his arrival, the Gunners are exploring the transfer market for a marquee left winger, who could be the regular starter next term.
