Arsenal have the opportunity to sign Sporting CP striker Viktor Gyokeres for €70 million this summer, according to A Bola.
The Gunners are expected to pursue a marquee centre-forward and they are exploring different options ahead of the next transfer window.
Gyokeres is one of them and reports claim that the Sweden international is prepared to join one of Arsenal, Liverpool or Manchester City.
The 26-year-old has a gentleman’s agreement to leave Sporting CP and could be available for less than his €100m release clause.
Sporting are willing to accept around €70m for his services, but the price could increase if there is a bidding war between the clubs.
Arsenal have been keeping tabs on RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko, but they could tempted to sign Gyokeres instead due to his track record.
He netted a stunning 43 goals for Sporting CP last term and has continued his sparkling form this campaign with 39 goals thus far.
