Milan want to sign Nkunku

AC Milan have made contact with Chelsea to sign Christopher Nkunku before the transfer deadline, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The Frenchman has fallen out of favour under manager Enzo Maresca and he is free to leave the Blues on a permanent basis this summer.

RB Leipzig and Bayern Munich were linked with him earlier in the transfer window, but the Bundesliga duo are no longer keen.

Milan have now emerged as a possible solution for the Paris Saint-Germain graduate, who can operate anywhere in the final third.

The Rossoneri recently aimed at signing Bayer Leverkusen’s Victor Boniface, but pulled out of the pursuit due to a medical issue.

They went on to discuss a deal with Sporting CP for Conrad Harder, but there has been a roadblock in negotiations in the last 24 hours.

It is now reported that the Rossoneri are looking at Nkunku as a potential solution upfront. The Blues are waiting for their transfer bid.
