Arsenal consider Livramento move – Soccer News


According to the Telegraph, Arsenal are keeping an eye on the situation around Tino Livramento and considering a move for the Newcastle fullback.

Livramento has reportedly been an subject of strong interest from Manchester City for a while now, but Newcastle have been fighting to keep hold of the 23-year-old for the long-term future. However, his current contract expires in 2028 and he’s been reluctant to sign a new one, which may force the Magpies to rethink their plans. Arsenal’s interest is likely to make things even more complicated on that front.

Newcastle are aware that Livramento’s market value will be dropping with each passing month if he remains at the club and no new contract is signed.

Livramento is a versatile fullback, capable of performing on either defensive flank, and Newcastle will likely price him at £60million at the end of this season, which could cause Arsenal to look elsewhere.
