Arsenal quartet missing vs Kairat

Arsenal will be without four key players for the Champions League meeting against Kairat Almaty at the Emirates Stadium tonight.

The Gunners have already secured a top-two spot in the league phase of the competition and need just a point to finish top of the table.

Ahead of the encounter, manager Mikel Arteta won’t be able to rely on the services of four senior players including William Saliba.

Saliba and Jurrien Timber did not train in yesterday’s session, and Arteta confirmed in his pre-match presser that they won’t feature.

Alongside the duo, Declan Rice and Mikel Merino will play no part against Kairat, having picked up their third yellow cards of the competition.

As per UEFA rules, three bookings constitute a one-game European suspension and the duo are therefore unavailable to face Kairat.

Despite this, Arsenal are firm favourites to beat the Kazakhstan champions, who have bottom of the league with just one point from seven games.
