Enzo Maresca on which goalkeeper will start vs Copenhagen

Maresca on starting goalkeeper

Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has said that he has yet to decide over his starting goalkeeper against Copenhagen in the Conference League.

The Blues registered a 2-1 win in the first leg of the round of 16 last week. They welcome Copenhagen to Stamford Bridge tomorrow.

Ahead of the game, Maresca was posed with plenty of questions and one of those was focused on who would start between the sticks.

In response, the Italian said that he has yet to decide between Robert Sanchez and Filip Jorgensen, but both are very good.

He said: “We’ll see. I didn’t decide yet. We have more than 24 hours. They [Jorgensen and Sanchez] are both very good.”

Robert Sanchez started in the victory over Copenhagen on the road and he retained his place against Leicester City in the league.

Maresca could stick with the Spaniard in goal for tomorrow’s encounter as well as the league clash against Arsenal on the road.
