One-Punch Man’s season 3 return has been a rocky one to say the least, but Bandai Namco is determined to see its full release all the way through. Season 3, part 2 is on the way and confirmed for 2027 release window for the climactic Monster Association Arc finale. If done right, it’ll adapt the best One-Punch Man fight ever.
Courtesy of a new trailer for One-Punch Man season 3, part 2, the 30-second teaser features Saitama and Garou’s voices teasing a clash between “Supreme Power vs. Ultimate Fear”. This is a clear nod to the ultimate form of Garou whose fight has yet to be surpassed in One-Punch Man’s manga.
One-Punch Man’s Finale Wasn’t the End After All
Despite One-Punch Man’s season 3 finale following the typical release pattern with 12 episodes like each of the previous installments, part 2 is on the way. Its delayed release gives way for optimism toward some much-needed polish, especially as the coming fights, particularly Cosmic Fear Garou, were among the most anticipated to be animated.
However, much like the six-year wait for season 3, an extra year’s wait for part 2 doesn’t guarantee quality. It’s best to temper expectations, observe carefully, and stay updated on all new details as they’re released about the anime.
