Worf evolved from a background character in Star Trek: The Next Generation season 1 into one of the most complex and compelling characters in the franchise. Michael Dorn continues to be a prolific actor, writer, and director, even if his days as Worf in Star Trek may be over. Dorn recently directed a science fiction movie with Michelle Hurd, who played Commander Raffi Musiker in Star Trek: Picard. Dorn recognizes the wealth of talent among the Star Trek casts and their built-in fan base for future projects outside of Star Trek.

When he returned in Star Trek: Picard season 3, Worf was an evolved character in this later stage of the Klingon’s life, yet he was still the same Worf fans know and love.
