The Genshin Impact 6.3 character banners have allegedly been leaked, highlighting the new characters that will appear as featured pulls, as well as the potential reruns that may have been long-awaited by some players. Currently, the action RPG by HoYoverse is at the very start of Version 6.2, the update that introduced Durin as a playable character. There is a lot of content in Genshin Impact 6.2, including new Archon Quests and several events.

However, with the update’s arrival, the beta tests for Version 6.3 have also started. With them, a set of reliable leaks has started to be shared, and it seems ike there will be a lot to see in the following patch. For example, one of the new characters is the highly anticipated Columbina in Genshin Impact, who is said to be a 5-star Hydro support for team comps.

Three New Characters Are Confirmed For Genshin Impact 6.3

Two New 5-Star Units Will Debut

Among the leaks are rumors that should soon be confirmed: three new playable characters. As seen on Honey Hunter World, Columbina, Zibai, and Illuga will be introduced in Version 6.3. The new leaks confirm the previous rumors that Columbina is a 5-star Hydro support character who uses a catalyst in battle. They also mention that Zibai will be a 5-star Geo sword user who will operate as a DPS using a new reaction in Genshin Impact 6.3 called Lunar Crystallize.

Lastly, Illuga is said to be a 4-star Geo character who should serve as a support. Based on his leaked kit, Illuga will be a great character to pair with Zibai, as his presence should increase her main stat, DEF, while also boosting allies’ CRIT stats. These three new characters will all debut in Version 6.3, but the leaks say that players can expect other characters to appear in banners, as usual.

Ineffa & Neuvillette May Rerun

According to information provided by the leaker known as HomDGCat, Columbina, Zibai, Ineffa, and Neuvillette will appear in the Version 6.3 banners as the featured 5-star characters. The leak, which was shared by user Fyeod on Reddit, does not highlight in which banner phase these characters will appear. The safest speculation is that Columbina will appear in Phase 1 banners, as the big highlight of the patch, accompanied by Ineffa in Genshin Impact, for example, who is an Electro character who could trigger Lunar-Charged with her.

Even though Zibai is listed as a Nod-Krai character and has Lunar and Moonsign mechanics in her kit, she is said to be a character from Liyue – in the same way that Nefer is a character from Sumeru. Given the update’s expected release in early 2026, it would make sense for Zibai to debut in Phase 2 banners, as her debut could coincide with the annual Lantern Rite Festival. With her, Neuvillette could rerun, though their synergy could be limited as he is also a main DPS.

For now, the leaks should be taken with a grain of salt, and the ideas on the banner order should be considered nothing more than speculation. Even so, the prospect of these new playable characters and what they could potentially bring to the meta is exciting, as Genshin Impact pushes into another year.
