Amorim on Hojlund

Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has already picked his striker to face Arsenal in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

The Red Devils are winless in the last two games in all competitions and they will be aiming to end the streak against the Gunners.

Ahead of the encounter, Amorim has heaped praise on Rasmus Hojlund despite his failure to score in his last 19 club matches.

The Portuguese said that Hojlund is ‘trying really hard’ and ‘he gave everything’ to score in the recent trip to Real Sociedad.

Hojlund got into some good positions in the box, but he was once again let down by his teammates, who failed to provide service.

Chido Obi is waiting in the wings to start ahead of Hojlund, but Amorim has clearly hinted that the latter will remain in the XI.

The Dane has been shown tremendous faith by the manager and it remains to be seen whether he will score against the Gunners.
