The 17-year-old joined the Red Devils from the Gunners academy last summer, and he recently made his debut amid the striking crisis.

Obi came on in the second half against Fulham in the FA Cup fifth round recently. The teenager was brilliant in the final third and almost scored a winner.

United eventually bowed out of the competition after a loss on penalties, but the youngster has certainly made a big impression on the manager.

Givemesport claim that the Red Devils wonderkid could make his full league debut against his former employers on Sunday afternoon.

Obi was not registered in the A-list squad for the Europa League and will therefore play no part for the club in the competition this season.

Rasmus Hojlund is likely to lead the line when the Red Devils face Real Sociedad in the first leg of the Europa League round of 16 tomorrow.
