The Greasing of the Poles tradition takes place on the famous Bourbon Street and is the official kick-off to Mardi Gras. Kelsey showed off her participation, sharing her various bedazzled outfits for the festivities.
In one TikTok, Kelsey and her friends enjoyed cocktails while she showed off her green leather hot pants and fluffy bolero jacket. In another, Kelsey shared a video of herself on one of the floats wearing a purple leotard, tights and a flower crown, her face decked out in crystals. In yet another video, Kelsey showed the aftermath of the event and said, in a very hoarse voice, that she could never look at alcohol again as she recovered from the day.

The two have been spending a lot of time apart recently, as Joey is appearing on the official Dancing With The Stars Live 2025 tour and Kelsey focuses on her own endeavors, like a collaboration with hair accessories brand Scünci and taking part in the annual Mardi Gras festivities in New Orleans. Joey will soon get some time off from the tour, according to the tour’s website. He won’t be appearing in shows from March 14 through April 15, which hopefully means he and Kelsey will get to spend some quality time together.
