Turn Old LEGOs Into Cash: Get $4 Per Pound!

Do you know about the LEGO trade-in program? Here’s what you’ll need to know to start earning!

Looking to let go of your old LEGO bricks? For a limited time, LEGO’s Take-Back Program lets you trade in your old bricks and score a LEGO eGift Card worth $4 per pound.

Just head here and enter your location to see how to participate. Most locations offer a free prepaid shipping label, and a few even have in-store drop-off options.

Each package must be under 25 lbs, but there’s no limit to how many you can send in. It’s an easy way to give your bricks a new life—and get rewarded in return!

What items are eligible?

Eligible items include LEGO bricks and elements that have been fully disassembled and are in good condition, minifigures & mini-dolls, and baseplates.

Note that LEGO’s Take-Back Program does not accept LEGO DUPLO bricks, non-LEGO items, partially or fully built LEGO sets, batteries, electronics, storage containers, packaging, or building instructions.

Ready to cash in on those unwanted LEGOs?

For mailed-in packages, the LEGOs you submit will be cleaned, sorted, and prepared to be reused or responsibly recycled. Once your bricks have been verified by LEGO’s team, you’ll receive an email with your eGift card. You can use the gift card to shop in stores or on LEGO.com, and it will never expire!

If you prefer, mailed-in bricks also have the option of being donated! You can opt to donate ALL or a percentage of your bricks to the LEGO Replay Program to be distributed to non-profit organizations for educators and other charities. 😍

If your teen thinks they are too old for LEGOs, we have other deals they might like!
