Their Trial Marriages Were Eye Opening

During the dating period, Kyle and Bridget were in an odd triangle, with Pilar being interested in both of them and being interested in her. However, Bridget also had interest in AJ, who was entertaining three options for the trial marriage. Kyle and Pilar ended up pairing up, and Bridget made a last-minute surprise decision to choose Ashley as her trial marriage partner. But the choice wasn’t smooth, as Bridget had a confrontation with AJ, whom she thought was being inauthentic.

“I’m not the authenticity police, but it was a little bit frustrating to spend all this time and energy in our dates trying to put aside that manufactured confidence and put on chemistry. I just wish I could have gotten more of the real AJ.”

During her trial marriage, Kyle got too close to Pilar, and crossed a boundary. The pair made out, but Kyle regretted it. Upon coming back together, Kyle came clean about the kiss, but she and Bridget were able not to dwell on it. Realizing that they did want to take the next step, Bridget proposed to Kyle during the ultimatum choice.
