Now that Amazon has taken over the James Bond franchise, Christopher Nolan’s directing chances have increased. Until a recent announcement, the Broccoli family, now Barbara Broccoli, had creative control over the Bond franchise. Following Daniel Craig’s departure from the series after No Time to Die, the search was underway for a new 007 actor, but updates were slow on Bond 26. This shifted this week when it was annonced that Amazon MGM Studios, who now owns veteran Bond distributor MGM, would take creative control over the franchise.

Now, a report from Puck says that legendary director Nolan is a higher possibility after the Amazon switch.
