Gyokeres dreams of Arsenal move

Sporting Lisbon striker Viktor Gyokeres dreams of playing for Arsenal amid interest from Juventus, according to Record.

The Swede is widely expected to leave the Portuguese champions this summer, provided any club meet the £68 million asking price.

Arsenal have so far made an opening bid worth £55.6 million and they seem reluctant to meet the reported price tag for the marksman.

Gyokeres is reportedly furious with Sporting’s stance and believes he had a gentleman’s agreement to leave for a much lesser price.

The 27-year-old dreams of playing for the London giants and he is prepared to wait until the end to make the transfer become a reality.

Arsenal have no plans of increasing their bid for the striker, but there is belief around the player’s camp that the stance will change.

Mikel Arteta‘s side are keen on signing a new striker before the pre-season tour. Aside from Gyokeres, they are keeping tabs on Benjamin Sesko and Ollie Watkins.
