Fantastic attacking displays at both ends as Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund share spoils in thrilling Klassiker (Video)

There’s rarely ever been a dull affair when Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund cross swords, and it wasn’t the case on Saturday at the Allianz Arena either, despite the first half ending goalless.

Less than three minutes into the second period, Maximilian Beier struck for the visitors with a skillful header, but then, it was time for Serge Gnabry to make use of his tricky feet. The Bayern winger broke down the left and squared it for Thomas Muller, who laid it off for Raphael Guerreiro to equalize in the 65th, and then he danced past several opponents to enter the box and fire home himself four minutes later.

However, the final word belonged to Dortmund defender Waldemar Anton, following up on a brilliant ball-control display and deft flick from Serhou Guirassy fire into the net from close range in the 75th.
