With Cyberpunk 2077 catapulting the franchise into stardom, it is hard to believe that it initially began way back in 1988 with the launch of Mike Pondsmith’s Cyberpunk TTRPG. Published by Talsorian Games, Night City 2045 is the “definitive guide to Night City” based in the same universe as the Cyberpunk TTRPG. As such, whilst Cyberpunk 2077 fans will be able to enjoy it, this 312-page sourcebook covers every area of the fictional universe, before, during, and after the launch of the hit RPG.

Launching back in June, Night City 2045 acts as something of a tour guide for the streets of Night City, including information about the geography, government and logistics, whilst offering a complete history, information on citizenship and laws, data on transportation, services, utility, and media. If there is something you have always wondered about the infrastructure of Night City, look no further.

On top of that, Night City 2045 shines a light on the various gangs who operate, including their factions. This means that you will learn more about up to 44 gangs, six criminal organizations, and 23 security providers. With 24 districts spread out across the city, and each offering their own unique character, you will get to learn who is in charge, who lives there, and the most notable events that have recently occurred.

Last but not least, Night City 2045 spends some time detailing the 600 locations situated in and around Night City. This includes: stores, clinics, gang headquarters, corporate fortresses, megabuldings and more. Many of these locations may be inaccessible during Cyberpunk 2077, but thanks to this brand-new sourcebook, we can learn what hides behind the facade.
