Much to the chagrin of The Legend of Zelda lore obsessives everywhere, the two latest mainline 3D games take place in a separate timeline branch known as the Wilds Era. Breath of the Wild and its direct sequel, Tears of the Kingdom, apparently have no tangible relation to any of the series’ other games, which hasn’t stopped them from being extremely successful. It’s no surprise then, that a brand-new release coming next year centers on Wilds Era Link.
Hasbro will debut its new The Legend of Zelda: Heroes of Hyrule figure line at San Diego Comic-Con, which begins Friday, July 24. The officially licensed figures are of Link, Zelda, and Ganondorf, their Tears of the Kingdom incarnations, specifically, as revealed by IGN. Priced at $27.99 each for Link and Zelda, and $42.99 for Ganondorf, preorders for the figures open later today, July 22, at 2:00pm ET / 5:00pm PT, and they will be released at an undetermined time next Spring.

The discrepancy in price for Ganondorf’s figure appears to be because it is taller, standing at 7.5 inches, while the Link and Zelda ones are 6 inches tall. Each one has articulating limbs and interchangeable parts and accessories. For example, Link’s Zonai hand can be swapped out, letting him pose either with the 
Master Sword, or an open palm, like in Tears of the Kingdom‘s promotional artwork of the character. Link’s Hylian Shield can similarly be removed, and the figure comes with a Hylian Hood, which completes his default appearance from TOTK.
Zelda’s figure comes with a broken Master Sword, and her right hand can be changed to either hold it or be open. Ganondorf is similar, with a grasping right hand to hold his katana, the 
Gloom Sword, which can be swapped for an open hand, but his weapon also comes with a functional scabbard.
These are the first three Zelda figures from Hasbro, which announced that it had acquired the franchise license to produce toys only a week ago. Hasbro is conceivably working on more figures, and has 40 years of Zelda art styles to choose from. The upcoming Ocarina of Time remake for the Switch 2 will likely be a prime opportunity for Hasbro to unveil more, but every game has a different Link, Zelda, and Ganondorf design—not to mention all the other recurring characters—so the possibilities are plentiful.
There is no word yet on when exactly these three Zelda figures will release in Spring 2027. IGN notes that these are “Early prototypes” that will be on display at Hasbro’s Comic-Con booth, though the full gallery does include images of the figures in their boxes, so it is also unclear if changes will be made prior to their release. The Legend of Zelda has seen unprecedented success in the Wilds Era, so it’s only fitting that Hasbro would choose Tears of the Kingdom for its debut toys.
