Viewers have learned a lot about the Plath family over three Welcome To Plathville seasons, so it’s interesting to map out how they all fit into the Plath family tree. Kim and Barry Plath are the strict, unconventional parents to nine kids, who were all raised on a large farm in rural Cairo, Georgia. The kids were brought up without things that many other children had access to daily, such as sugar and TV. Welcome To Plathville season 1 introduced fans to the large Plath family, giving viewers a look into the intense, complicated group as they grew and changed..
Alas, the eldest daughter, Hosanna Plath, was absent from Welcome To Plathville in subsequent episodes after moving away from Georgia. Ethan had just gotten married to Olivia Plath, who’s always had a rocky relationship with Kim and Barry on the show. The seasons also followed the self-described “rebel child,” Moriah Plath, who is more interested in makeup and fashion than working on the farm. In turn, Welcome To Plathville has continuously shown the stark contrast between Moriah and obedient Lydia Plath.
Barry Plath
58 Years Old
Barry is the Plath patriarch, though many Welcome To Plathville fans believe he is more lenient than his wife Kim and is mostly just following her lead. He was born in 1968, making him 58 years old. Barry works as a transportation planner.
In Welcome to Plathville season 6, Barry’s using intense workouts to get through a tough transitional phase. He and Kim are no longer together. Kim appeared to be the prime mover in the split. She didn’t seem fulfilled in her marriage to Barry – she thought they stopped communicating and looking out for each other. She wanted more. Barry hasn’t started dating yet, but in the sixth installment, Micah said that women were sending him DMs, letting them know that they want to date Barry, meaning he may find a new partner in the foreseeable future.

Kim Plath
53 Years Old
Kim used to work as a naturopathic “doctor,” but she’s not a “real” physician. The 53-year-old Virgo woman formerly spent her days homeschooling all of her children, with Lydia’s help. She taught them to play instruments so they could become the Plath Family Band. In the clip above, which teased the new season, Kim embraced boat life while Olivia and Ethan struggled to work out the details of their divorce. In the ongoing installment, Kim tried to make peace with Ethan.
In 2024, Kim was dating a new man, Ken Palmer. She met him because he gave her son, Isaac, flying lessons. Ken was kind to Kim’s children and trying to adjust to her having such a large family, but wasn’t accepted by Ethan yet. He said he wasn’t ready to meet Ken in Welcome to Plathville season 6. Ken and Kim split after Welcome To Plathville season 7. As for Ethan, it will take a lot for her to establish a normal bond with Ethan. While she’s extended an olive branch, Kim may not realize how serious Ethan’s issues are.
Ethan Plath
28 Years Old
Ethan is the oldest Plath child at 28 years old. He was born on May 14, 1998, and married Olivia when he was 20 years old in 2018. In 2024, they are no longer a couple. While they aren’t really estranged, they are at odds. Olivia wants to get on with her life and Ethan is still living in the past. It may take him a long time before he finally accepts that his marriage is over. However, onscreen in season 6, he eventually signed the divorce papers and moved into a new relationship during season 7.
Now single, Ethan still appears on the series as a member of the family, and will return for Welcome To Plathville season 8.
Hosanna Plath
26 Years Old
Hosanna disappeared after the first episode of Welcome To Plathville, but her parents are proud of her low-key lifestyle. Kim and Barry appreciate the fact that Hosanna’s built a new life with her husband. She’s currently 26 years old, and Hosanna thrives away from the spotlight. While she seems quite traditional, by avoiding the Welcome to Plathville cameras after her very brief stint on the show, she did show a touch of rebellious spirit.
Micah Plath
25 Years Old
Micah is 25 years old as of March 2026, and while his life has changed so much in the past few years, he still has a lot of growing up to do. He’d given up the bachelor lifestyle in Los Angeles for a quiet life with his live-in girlfriend, Veronica Peters, for some time before their split during the tail end of Welcome To Plathville season 7. Now, it appears that Micah is still single and has moved back closer to his family in Cairo, keeipng him around for the younger Plaths.
Moriah Plath
23 Years Old
Wild child Moriah might sometimes look like Micah’s twin, but she is actually a year younger. Her birthdate is August 28, 2002. Moriah will celebrate her 24th birthday on August 28, 2024, in just a few days. Right now, she’s still 23 years of age.
Starring in Welcome to Plathville hasn’t been easy for Moriah. She found Kim and Barry’s restrictive rules hard to take, and went out on her own as soon as she could. However, all of that freedom had a downside. Her romance with Max Kallschmidt ended in disaster when he cheated on her. The whole world watched that split unfold. A later romance also failed. Both times, she felt very depressed, and the spotlight may be part of the reason why.
Lydia Plath
22 Years Old
Lydia is the mediator in the family because she is the middle child. She is currently 22 years old and was born on February 4, 2004. Lydia is an Aquarius, and like many people born under that sign, she’s quite stubborn about her beliefs. She is deeply religious and doesn’t seem to question her faith very often.
Nonetheless, as with most Aquarians, Lydia likes to shock. She used to break the rules, texting a boy until Kim had to intervene. She sneaked around a little after that, and eventually met her husband Zac, who she married during Welcome To Plathville season 7. Her relationship hasn’t been easy on the family, but it has been a huge part of her life as she’s gotten older.
Isaac Plath
20 Years Old
Aspiring pilot Isaac got more screen time on Welcome To Plathville season 3, and fans learned a lot about him. Now, he’s really growing up – he’s currently 20 years old. He was born on October 21, 2005. He seems like a happy and well-balanced child. He’s moving into adulthood with grace and purpose. Some of Kim’s kids are easier to raise than others, and Isaac seems to have avoided the pitfalls of fame, such as an addiction to drama that plays out onscreen.
During Welcome To Plathville season 7, Isaac got a lot more screen time after getting into a new relationship and finding himself in an altercation with his brother, Micah. While there’s still a lot to learn about Isaac as a part of the Plath family structure, he’s coming into his own as an adult.
Amber Plath
17 Years Old
Amber is 17 years old and was born on February 24, 2009. Since she’s really in her teens now, she may become more of a presence on the show. In season 6, it’s amazing how grown-up the Plath kids are, including Amber. There are signs that Amber’s really developing a strong sense of self. When Kim tried to control her divorce, she made it clear that she believed that Kim should move out of the family home, rather than Barry. That was true as Kim was the one that left.
Cassia Plath
15 Years Old
Fans learned that Cassia had eye surgery and nearly went blind after an accident on the Plath farm. However, many of them don’t know that she is just 15 years old. She was born on June 2, 2011. Cassia is born under the sign of Gemini – this sign is known for its dual desires. So, it won’t be a surprise if she gets a little bit rebellious later – torn between her family’s rules and what she wants for herself.
Mercy Plath
13 Years Old
Mercy is the youngest child in the Welcome To Plathville family, at just 13 years old. She was born on February 13, 2013. While Mercy’s quite young and hasn’t made a major impact on the show yet, that could change. As her mother Kim embraces a life that seems like a full-on midlife crisis, it’s possible that she may begin to clash with her younger daughters.
