Aston Villa put four past Liverpool to secure Champions League qualification (Video)

Heading into the Europa League final against Freiburg next week, Aston Villa have shown once again shown their form by beating Liverpool at Villa Park on Friday. They’ve also booked a place in next season’s Champions League.

Morgan Rogers took advantage of the space he was left in to break the deadlock in the 41st minute. His fine strike was cancelled out by Virgil van Dijk in the 51st, but then Ollie Watkins struck twice (56′, 72′), before John McGinn secured the home side’s victory in the 88th. Van Dijk was on target for Liverpool again in stoppage time, to no real effect.
